Alas, Little Dragon’s bid to grab the most spins during each week of July fell short by the tiniest margin. They still hold a new record for most consecutive weeks spent atop KCRW’s Top 30, at least going as far back as we can remember. And it’s fitting that they pass the torch to another of our insta-faves, Say She She. We celebrate the announcement of their sophomore album Silver (due Sept. 29 via Colemine Records) AND gear up to be their loudest cheerleaders as they make their Hollywood Bowl debut this Sunday, Aug. 6 as part of KCRW Festival alongside Chicano Batman and Portugal The Man.
